Management Team

Mr. Stan Abele started at Seismic Micro-Technology in 2004. As VP of Product Management, he is responsible for the development of SMT’s corporate product strategy and roadmap.

Mr. Abele has 20 years of geoscience application development industry experience. He began his career at Pennzoil as a geologist and geophysicist. He then moved to Landmark, supplier of software and services for the upstream Exploration and Production industry, where he stayed for 15 years. Working in a number of management positions within R&D, he planned, directed and supervised program development and implementation of software products utilized within the energy industry.

Mr. Abele has a BS in Geology from the University of Texas, Austin.
