PRODUCTS: BY RESERVOIR

Organizations face unique challenges and differing workflows in every play. For example, unconventional fields require the use of new technologies like microseismic data analysis while deep water development often requires the ability to visualize sub salt regions.

KINGDOM software provides comprehensive capabilities that give companies the tools they need regardless of what fields they work in. Over the years, 3000 customers in 100 nations have selected KINGDOM because of its unique ability provide next generation technology for all of their workflows. And SMT’s unique focus on interpretation software ensures that KINGDOM stays ahead of the pack in the years ahead.

Shale plays, tight sands or CBM - KINGDOM provides an integrated solution for your interpretation in unconventional resources. Optimizing development in unconventional reservoirs is often difficult due to the ultra-low permeability and abnormal pressure variation across layers. To ensure that the production rates of wells are sufficient to maintain economic viability, hydraulic fracturing jobs must be accurately contained within the pay zone and the formation contact area must be maximized. For these unconventional plays, KINGDOM provides the market leading solution for geoscientific interpretation.

Create Acoustic Impedance Attributes Using Log Data

Colored Inversion is a proven technique that is fast and easy to apply to seismic data, yet it produces results that match more sophisticated and compute intensive techniques such as sparse spike inversion. KINGDOM matches the well character within the seismic bandwidth and automatically performs phase correction, thereby minimizing the risk of interpreting incorrect or unwanted seismic events and improving the speed and accuracy of the interpretation. This increase in interpretation efficiency easily offsets the time spent creating the inversion data.

  • Fast and robust method of generating a seismic inversion data type ideally suited for use by all interpreters.
  • Matches seismic data to well log data to produce cleaner data with less noise and less signal instability.
  • Simple for the interpreter to set up and use.
  • Ideal 'quick look' inversion tool for use prior to more detailed inversion studies.

Interpret Pre-Stack Data

KINGDOM brings powerful visualization and interpretation of pre-stack gather data to the interpretation desktop by generating attributes that can be used to locate hydrocarbon indicators in rock volumes and presenting the gathers in a gallery. Using this gallery, you can dynamically compare gathers to multiple data types such as the stack trace, common offset or angle stack trace, well log curves, synthetics, or extracted seismic sections. This comparison can help reduce risk in prospecting for oil and gas.

  • Integrated ability to view, interpret, and analyze pre-stack gathers in 2D and 3D views.
  • Condition data and save processing to disk. This includes sorting, dip-based super gathers, flattening on a horizon or velocity, spectral balancing, angle gather generation, and other improved processing capabilities.

Exploration and development of carbonate reservoirs represent vast areas of opportunity around the globe. However, carbonate reservoirs are often difficult to explore and develop due to abnormal permeability and porosity characteristics. Understanding the complex petrophysical attributes can be challenging.
